Houston-based artist Russell Willingham blends Americana storytelling with the warmth of neo-soul and R&B, drawing on a deep love of vintage electric guitar tones and classic songcraft. Influenced by the soulful uplift of Sam Cooke, the haunting storytelling of Lord Huron, and the old-made-new spirit of Chris Stapleton, Leon Bridges, and Charley Crockett, Willingham writes music built to feel timeless. His debut album, produced by Billy Horton (Charley Crockett), is out now.
